Chicago Tribune Admits Sex Hormones Found in Drinking Water
In a page-one story, the Chicago Tribune said that it had found trace elements of sex hormones in drinking water, signaling an admission on the part of a major media outlet of the growing danger of birth control hormones in drinking water.
The story mentioned that the city officials found more than two dozen pharmaceuticals that are passing through the city’s water treatment facilities and consumed by seven million people in the city and surrounding suburbs.
